ESPN TV SHOW

GLOBAL POLO / USPA

BREAKAWAY:

Polo in the Palm Beaches, Part 1

November 2023

I am thrilled to have been a part of this spectacular show made by Global Polo for ESPN, featuring Juano Britos and Hilario Ulloa!

Below are the minute time markers when I am speaking in the show:

~ 10:13 I talk about how I began as a photo photographe, with a specific interest in the polo ponies, themselves.

~ 16:33 My comments about this show's featured player, Juano Britos, plus several of my photos of him.

~ 19:00 I am talking about one of my most comical Juan photos, "He Didn't Get the Memo."

~ 21:16 I am talking about my favorite subjects to photograph, the petiseros (grooms) with the ponies they are responsible for before, during and after the matches.

If you love behind-the-scenes footage/interviews of many of the top polo players in the world, polo commentators and an interesting mix of people you may not know in the polo community, you will love this polo series, BREAKAWAY. Each show is under 1/2hr long. They are all definitely a must see! You can watch them now on YouTube.

I was invited to be interviewed again for the new 2024 show, also made by Global Polo for ESPN. Some of this episode features much about the polo ponies themselves, from a variety of the polo community's point of view.

You can view me at minute marker 5:24 (not my favorite clip).
